Church Organizations
Pastoral Council serves as an advisory board to the pastoral staff. It shares in the decision-making process by assisting the pastoral staff in determining and evaluating the parish vision and mission. Also, the Council implements programs to accomplish goals and objectives which improve the quality of life in the community. Members are chosen through a discernment process held during the months of October and November. The council meets monthly.

Finance Council is mandated by the universal law of the Church (Code of Canon Law) and is a consultative body. Among the duties are the preparation of the annual parish budget, review of periodic financial reports, consultation on major capital expenditures, advice on fund-raising efforts, and other decisions affecting the finances of the parish. The pastor appoints the membership. The council meets monthly.

School Board serves as a consultative body to the pastor and the principal in the implementation of Archdiocesan policies and to formulate policies on the parish level for the good of the school community. New members are elected each spring through the Co-operative Club. The board meets monthly during the academic year.

Cooperative Club complements the efforts of OLPH School in striving toward the goal of Catholic education, promotes the overall growth of the youth of the school, provides financial assistance through various activities, while enjoying good fellowship among the members, and strengthens the ties between home, school, parish, and community. Meetings are held bi-monthly during the school year.

Knights of Columbus is an international organization of Catholic men dedicated to the service of the Church. In our parish, the council is named in honor of Fr. Peter Boerding, S.V.D., who served as pastor from 1939 to 1950. Members must be practicing Catholics, at least 18 years of age. Meetings are held on the second Wednesday of the month.
